Hello and welcome to Honeypots Studio, I'm thrilled to have you here, and I'm excited to share a little about myself and the journey that led me here!

My name is Charlotte, and I've always been captivated by the art of creation. Previously, I ventured into the world of special effects makeup, honing my skills in realism and sculpture. Through this meticulous craft of bringing designs to life, I discovered my passion for moulding raw materials into something extraordinary. During my career, I've had the privilege of working with world-renowned brands, where I refined my artistry and gained invaluable experience in the intricacies of design and form.

After years of sculpting and creatin, I found myself drawn to a new canvas one that was both tactile and transformative. That's when Honeypots Studio was born. Combining my love for artistry and my desire to ignite creativity in others, I set out to create a space where individuals could explore their imagination and unleash their inner artist.
WHY HONEYPOTS?
Well, when it came to naming my new venture, I wanted something that was personal to me and that spoke to who I am and what I hold dear. "Paint Strokes" was one idea, but it just didn't capture the cozy warmth and friendly vibe I envisioned. So, I took a trip down memory lane, reminiscing about my great grandma's affection for Winnie the Pooh and my grandad's affection for bears. My grandad, a real inspiration in my life, with his own business proudly bearing a grizzly bear on the logo. To me, bears will always be synonymous with him.
Those memories, woven into the fabric of my childhood, mean the world to me. The association of honey became a link between the two, blending family affection, nostalgia, and the magic of nature's sweetness.
The decision to start this new venture wasn't made lightly. It involved selling up everything I had built in North Yorkshire, bidding farewell to the rolling hills and embarking on a journey back home. With the tranquil landscapes of Norfolk beckoning me, I knew it was time to take the leap and establish Honeypots Studio back in the beautiful setting of West Norfolk. Accompanied by my cat Perseus I made the move back to Norfolk.

At Honeypots Studio, we believe that art is not just about the final product, but the journey, fun and discovery along the way. Whether you're a seasoned painter, first-time artist or looking for something to do with the family our goal is to provide a welcoming relaxing environment where you can let your creativity flourish.
Our studio offers a wide range of pottery painting options, from mugs and plates to figurines, allowing you to bring your designs to life in vibrant colours and intricate patterns. With a myriad of tools and techniques at your disposal, the possibilities are endless.
